Distance: About 64 inches above ground and 3 feet in front curve
Additional Setup: Since this was a distance miking setup we recorded around 8 mikes at a time and had multiple passes.
Our Comments: Our picks for piano mics were the Mojave Audio MA201, The Audix SCX-25, and the Audix CX212. Of the dynamic mics, we preferred the Audix D4 and i5, the i5 being the brighter of the two.
