Additional Setup: Once sweet spot was found, our laser alignment was locked in for further microphone tests.
Our Comments: We found the sE Electronics RN17 was pleasantly warm with a smooth high end. The Audix SCX-1 had more high mids, making it more clear and crisp. Of the dynamic mics, we preferred the Audix D4, as it was clearer sounding than the Audix i5.
