A matched stereo pair of SE1A microphones in an elegant wooden case with stand adapters and stereo mounting bar. The mounting bar is adjustable from x/y to spaced stereo pair positioning ideal for the classic live recording applications and all uses where an accurate stereo capture is required. The SE1A can take high SPL levels and is therefore ideal for close-miking applications e.g. instruments & drums.

The frequency response is 30Hz-20KHz, sensitivity 10mV/Pa - 40± dB(0dB=1V/Pa 1000Hz), impedance less than 30O ohms, equivalent noise level is 17dB(A weighted), 137dB SPL. 48Vphantom power required.
The SE-SE1A microphone sounds similar to the SE2A, but without the option of multiple capsules and patterns. This mic is great for cymbals, snare, and acoustic guitars. On acoustic guitars it provides a lot of string attack. If you are looking to mainly record solo acoustic performances you might want to consider a warmer tone created by a wide diaphragm mic or the SE3 small condencer. For adding acoustic tracks to full arrangement songs and you are on a budget, this is a good choice because it will cut through the mix.
