What are Custom Monitors?
Your ears are unique. Made from precise impressions of the wearer's ears, custom monitors provide the best possible fit and comfort. Custom monitors also provide important sound isolation to help protect the wearer from excessively loud sounds that can cause hearing damage.

Ear Impressions
Ear impressions are made by hearing aid professionals. Once your ears have been inspected to be sure they are free of wax, protective cotton or foam blocks will be placed in the canals, and the external ear will be filled for about five minutes with a soft, putty-like silicone material to capture the exact shape. After the material sets up and the impressions are removed from your ears, they are sent to Microsonic Music⢠so that your Custom Musicians' Monitors can be manufactured.
Impressions are available at Preferred Partner hearing aid offices.
Your package will include complete instructions for meeting with a Preferred Partner hearing aid office in your area to get your ears cast and then have them sent to Microsonic Music so your Custom Musicians' Monitors can be manufactured.
