Dynamic instrument microphone
The "D2" is an American-made instrument microphone designed for live performances and recording. Characterized with a hypercardioid pickup pattern and a frequency response of 44 Hz- 18kHz, the D2 is a perfect choice for instruments requiring seperation like Tom Toms.
"Transformer-less" design, low impedance, and balanced output allow interference-free performance even with long cable runs. A dent-resistant spring steel grill and sound pressure handling capabilities in excess of 140db add to the D2's road-worthiness. For reduced weight and greater durability. Comes with carry pouch and mic clip.
Compared to the D6 on kick drum, this mic is more flat/natural sounding. Great on Bass cab's and Floor toms.
